WHO WE ARE
IDEPL is an ISO 9001-2015 company based in Chandigarh, India, established in the year 1990 under the Company’s Act 1956 .
Focussed on pulp & paper vertical, IDEPL has successfully executed several domestic as well as international projects in the industry in partnership with major machine manufacturing companies including: Voith & Belmar – Germany, Tampella – Sweden, Jack Poyry & Andritz – Austria, Hansol EME – S Korea, Valmet, Carcano, Overmecanica – Italy and Toscotec – Italy.
IDEPL has carved a niche for itself by executing projects across the globe in countries such as England, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Spain, Algeria, Kuwait, Iran, UAE, Romania, Italy, Germany and Nepal.
We are now expanding our footprint to other verticals including, but not limited to power plant, bio-fuel, and chemical/petrochemical industries by leveraging over three decades of experience and expertise in providing turnkey solutions in the field of detailed engineering, project builds and

Mechanical Engineer with 50 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry, he has built a distinguished career working with leading paper manufacturers and renowned machine builders, including L&T, Voith Germany counterparts, and NEYPIC France. Known for his deep technical expertise and practical leadership, he has successfully managed numerous installation and commissioning projects under IDEPL. His career reflects a rare blend of hands-on engineering skill, industry insight, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

B.Tech Mechanical Engineer with 48 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry, he has worked with leading companies in paper manufacturing and machine design, including L&T and the German counterpart of Voith. Trained at Voith in Germany, he specializes in both basic and detailed engineering design of paper machines, bringing decades of technical expertise and industry insight to every project he undertakes.

Irshad Ali, a Mechanical Engineering graduate with 30 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry, has successfully managed numerous projects both in India and internationally, including assignments in Saudi Arabia, Spain, Egypt, and Algeria. Known for his hands-on expertise and ability to deliver complex projects across diverse environments, he brings strong technical insight and dependable leadership to every engagement.
