PRIORITIZING SAFETY
SAFETY STANDARDS
At IDEPL safety of staff as well as workers is our utmost priority. We follow The Factory Act, of 1948. We have strict safety guidelines and qualified safety officers on-site throughout the duration of the project to ensure compliance.
Work safety is a pre-condition for the deployment of personnel at all the project sites. All the personnel working on the project site are rigorously and suitably trained in safety procedures and to carry out their specific assigned jobs.

QUALIFIED ON-SITE SAFETY OFFICER
At every project site, IDEPL deploys on-site safety officers to conduct safety audits, safety surveys and routine safety inspections and to ensure compliance.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
Wearing personal protective equipment such as steel-toed safety helmets, safety glasses, gloves, ear-plugs and protective clothing, is mandatory for every team member working on the project site

FIRE PROTECTION & PREVENTION
Multipurpose fire extinguishers are kept at hand at designated locations. Workers are thoroughly trained on the usage and types of fire extinguishers and on the emergency evacuation procedure.

HEIGHTS SAFEGUARD
Workmen at height (above 2m/6ft) have to wear safety belts. Ladders and scaffolding are secured properly and shoulder bags or belt attachments are used to carry the tools

SAFETY AGAINST ELECTRICAL HAZARDS
Work on energized equipment is performed only under the supervision of an expert electrician, and only authorized electricians are allowed to handle electrical systems using PPE.

HOT WORK SAFEGUARDS
Hot work comprises cutting, welding, grinding and soldering operations that produce spark, flame or heat. Hot work permits are mandatory for each area on the project site and workers have to wear proper PPE.
